Francavilla Angitola Vacations from $1,023

We had problems with our train journey and eventually decided to make an unplanned stay somewhere near Paola station overnight and try again the next day. The nearest place we could find was Hotel Cliche so we just booked it... and we can't believe how lucky we were! The staff here were the most genuinely friendly and helpful people you could possibly hope for. They arranged to collect us from the station and when we got to the hotel we enjoyed a really relaxing evening having pizza and a drink in their restaurant / bar area. The atmosphere was really chilled with some locals at the bar too and we soon forgot our train woes. The room was great and we had a very comfortable and quiet night followed by plentiful breakfast the next day. The hotel then arranged a taxi for us back to the station and we continued on our way. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone at Hotel Cliche for such a warm welcome and all your help. You turned a difficult day into a very enjoyable and memorable part of our Italian holiday!

Property needs updating. Pool use not included-surcharge of $5 per person per day. Beach Umbrellas and chairs not included. Breakfast and service was disappointing. Very loud music when ballroom and/or pool have an event like a birthday or wedding which is often - experienced loud music until 1:30am. Difficult to find parking during these events.

Hôtel merveilleusement situé dans les hauteurs et entouré d’arbres. La piscine très bien entretenue est grande et des serviettes sont proposées aux clients . Les chambres sont très propres ainsi que les locaux .

The hotel was great from the food to the service. Everyone was very kind and treated us like family. They even picked us up at the train station in Paola and drove us to attractions we wanted to see! We couldn’t have asked for better service and a better experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting this area with their loved ones.
